| Vector extends in the country and up 30% |

Software manufacturing Vector Software, certified partner of the American business software company Oracle, opened earlier this month a working point in Cluj-Napoca.
The company is headquartered in Bucharest, Cluj working point being the first outside capital. According to company officials, this investment will yield a 30% increase in turnover, which in 2005 was around 2 million euro, and will complement the company’s image regarding the conduct of business locally. SMEs are an important target for Vector Software, the management of the company hoping that this year the turnover has been obtained at least 30% from the SMEs. "Working point of Cluj is operational and has attributions in sales and marketing. Transilvania is a dynamic area in the SME sector and we felt the need to have a better contact in this part of the country”, said Danut Gaciu, Business Solution Manager of Vector Software. Since the beginning of 2006 Vector Software, together with Oracle Romania, presented a series of projects aimed at local business community for SME segment in Bacau, Constanta, Cluj-Napoca and Oradea.
"Oracle Romania provides to small and medium companies an adapted e-business solutions offer to cover the requirements of the technological infrastructure, and on the applications”, said Victor Maghiari, Applications Channel Manager at Oracle Romania.
Vector Software is specialized in IT management solutions to financial and banking sectors, oil and gas, telecommunications, utilities, retail, manufacturing. His clients include BNR, Banca Transilvania, BCR, Omniasig, Orange, Romtelecom, Rompetrol, Romgaz, Michelin. The company has Romanian capital and was founded in January 2001. Earlier this year, Vector Software acquired Orasys Extend, company specialized in providing advanced technical services for Oracle applications and technology, but the value of the transactions was not made public.
