Finance Profi Rom Food on Oracle applications   Oracle Romania and Vector Software, one of its most important partners, have completed the draft regarding the implementation of Oracle Financials application at Profi Rom Food, the company that owns the Discounter Profi stores (with low prices, based on permanent promotions), spread more in the west of the country. The value of the contract was not disclosed by either party. Choosing Oracle applications was based on criteria such as the ability of the software system to support a large number of simultaneous users and operations, but also to communicate with the inventory management system and personnel, that Profi Rom Food implemented previously.   Founded in 1999, Profi Rom Food operates in the present a total of 14 such stores and has 350 employees. The company is a part of Louis Delhaize group, which owns also Cora supermarket in Romania. Profi Rom Food aims to reach at least 80 opened stores throughout the country in coming years. 9.02.2004
